Jesy Nelson is now engaged to her boyfriend Zion Foster.
The former Little Mix star announced the news on Instagram on Friday, confirming that she had accepted a proposal from the musician, who is also the father of her twin daughters.
"Just got engaged to my best friend," she wrote in the caption, adding ring and emotional face emojis. The message was shared alongside a photo seemingly taken moments after the proposal, which took place on a beach at sunset.
In the picture, Jesy proudly displays her engagement ring while Zion kisses her cheek, with the two standing on a blanket spread out on the sand.
She later posted another photo, giving her followers a closer look at the sparkling diamond on her finger.
Messages of love quickly poured in from fans and friends, with fellow X Factor alum Ella Henderson commenting, "Awww congrats gorgeous girly! You deserve the universe."
Jesy and Zion also re-posted the announcement on their Instagram Stories, choosing Lionel Richie’s song Truly to soundtrack the moment.
Zion added his own words on social media, writing, "God is the greatest (heart emoji) the luckiest man."
Jesy began dating Zion in 2022, and earlier this year they welcomed twin daughters Ocean and Story.
The twins were born prematurely at 31 weeks in May as a result of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare complication that put their lives at risk. After several weeks in neonatal care, Jesy and Zion were able to bring them home in June.
Jesy is also currently working on a six-part documentary series for Prime Video titled Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix. The series will explore her high-risk pregnancy, her journey into motherhood, and her life since leaving Little Mix in 2020.
A release date for the series has not yet been confirmed.
