It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Shy Glizzy, but the D.C. rapper is officially back in action with his new album, Flowers.
“So many blood, sweat, and tears were poured into making this masterpiece,” Glizzy says. “I’m grateful that I finally get to share this with the world. It’s been a long time coming, and it’s even longer to go. Every experience good or bad helped me grow (mentally and musically). This was probably the most difficult project for me thus far because of all the challenges I had to face. But if there’s anything I learned in the process it’s that tomorrow’s not promised. Give me my flowers while I can smell them
Shy Glizzy’s first release since 2020’s Young Jefe 3, Flowers arrives at 20 tracks with features from 21 Savage, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, EST Gee, and Chris Brown.

Step aside, the pack is back. Wolf Alice stormed straight to Number 1 with The Clearing, marking their second album to reach the top after Blue Weekend dominated the charts in 2021. Their first two albums, 2015’s My Love Is Cool and 2017’s Visions of a Life, both came close, peaking at Number 2.
The Clearing also grabs another trophy this week, leading the Official Vinyl Albums Chart as the best-selling record on vinyl.
Deftones celebrate a career highlight as well, securing their third consecutive Top 10 studio album with their latest release, landing at Number 2. The American metal icons previously earned strong UK chart spots with Ohms and Gore, both of which reached Number 5.
Laufey achieves a new personal best with her captivating record, "A Matter of Time," entering at Number 3. Her last project, Bewitched, reached number 13, but this time she pushes even further.
Her growing popularity also puts her on top of the Official Record Store Chart, with A Matter of Time named the week’s most in-demand album in UK independent record shops.
As Oasis celebrate three decades since the release of Definitely Maybe, four of their albums appear in the Top 40: Time Flies… 1994-2009 at Number 4, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? At 11, Definitely Maybe at 15, and the new entry, Complete Studio Album Collection, at 39.
Rising Irish folk band Kingfisher claim their first UK Albums Chart placement, debuting inside the Top 10 with Halcyon at Number 7. The group went viral this week when a video of them performing on the roof of an Irish pub in North London spread online.
Pendulum returns to the charts with Inertia at Number 8, their first release in seven years. The drum and bass heavyweights last reached the top back in 2010 with Immersion.
Sombr’s debut album, I Barely Know Her, makes an impressive entrance into the Top 10 at Number 10. The New York newcomer had already charted four singles from the project in the Top 40 ahead of the full release.
Indie duo Royel Otis celebrate their first UK Albums Chart appearance with their second studio record, hickey, landing at Number 14. The project marks a significant step forward in their creative journey.
K-pop stars Stray Kids continue to grow their UK presence with their latest album KARMA debuting at Number 22. It becomes their second UK Top 40 success, following 5-Star's Number 40 entry in 2023.
Hackney group Rudimental return to the charts with RUDIM3NTAL at Number 31, their first new project in four years. Their chart history has always been strong, with "Home" and "We The Generation" both hitting number one.
Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb re-enters the Top 40 a decade after its release, returning at Number 32. The influential album originally peaked at Number 16 in 2015.
Closing out the Top 40 in style, The Who’s Live At The Oval 1971 finally makes its debut on digital and vinyl after 54 years, cementing its place among this week’s charting albums.
