Ja Rule has revealed he has one very important new year’s resolution for 2025.
Taking to social media to inform fans, Ja said: “My new year resolution is to be PETTY…”
After one commenter implied that he needed to grow up, Ja clapped back and said: “I’m technically 12 I can be as petty as I want…” a reference to the fact he was born on February 29.
Another user brought up 50 Cent‘s claims that he bought hundreds of tickets for one of his concerts with Ja replying: “You believe this dumb shit??? Like I said before I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage a photo shit what city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat fucking LIAR.”
50 recently addressed longstanding claims that he once bought tickets to one of Ja Rule’s shows so that hundreds of seats would be empty.
During a recent interview with Big Boy, 50 repeated the claim by saying: “I did [buy Ja Rule’s tickets]. They were cheap tickets. The tickets were very affordable. They were on StubHub. I bought the first four rows.”
He added: “I looked at it and said, ‘I just want you to feel like you gotta reach the people, four or five rows back’ [laughs].”
50 also said: “It wasn’t that big of a sacrifice. I’ve bought things that mean less to me. That was fun, watching the show and seeing the spaces are empty because they were reserved for someone else.”
The former Murder Inc. rapper has previously called cap on 50 Cent’s claim about buying his concert tickets.
Back in 2019, after 50 said he snapped up 200 tickets to one of his shows, Ja wrote on social media: “This [clown emoji] 50 Cent is the pathological LIAR. I’ll cash app 10 bands to ANYBODY who has pics or footage of said show bozo bought 200 tix to so it could be empty … I’ll wait… y’all believe anything goofy [they] tell y’all.”
Ja Rule later said to HipHopDX about 50’s claim: “Listen, we live in a world where everything is on video. Come on, man. Stop with the foolery, man!
“Even the thought of it is stupid because n-gga, all you did if you did that was put money in my pocket. And what you think the promoter is going to do? Have an empty venue? You let n-ggas in free or charge them again!”

Justin Bieber is just as bummed as fans are that he didn’t get to see Rihanna‘s latest impromptu performance.
Over the weekend, RiRi made a pitstop at Manhattan’s Girls Love Karaoke, where she took over the stage to perform “Needed Me” and “Sex With Me” from her 2016 album Anti.
“Missed seein u sing Queen,” he wrote on his Instagram Story Friday (Jan. 3) with the goat, crown and shocked reaction emojis over a clip he reshared of his Def Jam labelmate performing “Needed Me.”
“Don’t do too much because, you know, I got five minutes. My battery’s about to burn out. There’s a lot of cameras. I didn’t come here for this s–t,” Rihanna said in a video recap of the event posted to Girls Love Karaoke’s Instagram.
The last time the “Work” hitmaker delivered a full concert was in March, when she performed during the pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, India. It was the first time she put on a full show since her Anti World Tour in 2016. Coincidentally, Bieber performed at another of the same couple’s pre-wedding celebration months later, marking the “Sorry” singer’s first performance since he canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour in 2023 due to health concerns.
Both superstars have been quiet on the music front and have prioritized starting their own families, but Rihanna previously teased that she and her partner A$AP Rocky have been cooking up something new. “I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of,” she told Entertainment Tonight in April. “Me and Rocky are really trying to figure out who’s gonna use what because it’s so good.”
