Kanye West Reveals How North West Is Influencing His Release Date For “Bully”

image

Like most Kanye West albums, Bully is shaping up to be yet another controversial release. The Georgia/Chicago icon is currently prepping his 11th studio album, one that was announced last September during his performance in China. Fans of his have been receiving some tidbits here and there about its creation in Tokyo, Japan, as well as a fair number of snippets. So far, they have been varying in quality and originality. The first handful had folks really eager, but the same cannot be said about the past three. Two of them were essentially remixes of Future's "Magic Don Juan" and "LIL DEMON.

The most recent has been ruffling the feathers of even the staunchest Ye supporters as there has been a real debate whether or not AI was used. Well, unfortunately, there's a good chance that it could've been. Recently, Kanye West revealed that he wants to help AI become more accepted in music in his interview with Justin Laboy. He's not been shy about incorporating for quite some time now, so there's going to be a lot of questions when Bully does drop.

Kanye West's Bully Is "Dropping June 15"

Speaking of which, it appears that Mr. West has a release date set in stone and its special day. At another point during the chat, Laboy asks when it's going to arrive. "My oldest said to bring it out in June," referring to North West who is now 11. "Your birthday or her birthday," Laboy asked in response. Ye then took a moment to think about which day would be best.

He then said, "Didn't Yeezus come out on your birthday?" he said to North who was at the interview. She nodded her head, and that was all the confirmation that he needed. "Yeah, so we are gonna do it on your birthday. That's when we're gonna bring Bully out 'cause that's her favorite album." To be correct, Yeezus dropped on June 18. North's birthday is June 15. So, it looks like we now have just over four months to go, but we are not holding our breath in the slightest until it actually arrives.

Drake Gets Roasted For His Corny & Suggestive T-Shirt While Out In Australia

image

Drake is Down Under and apparently over his head, as a lot of people online raised their eyebrows when they saw a shirt that he wore while out during his Australia and New Zealand "Anita Max Win" tour. Moreover, the shirt reads "WAIT TILL U SEE MY" and shows an arrow pointing down... Classy, Drizzy, real classy. Of course, this led some people to bring up the allusions to his leaked videos in the Kendrick Lamar battle, whether that was the 6ix God boasting about his "video proof" or K.Dot claiming that he leaked the video himself.

A lot of folks clowned this move as a cringe-fueled display from someone pushing 40 or just found it funny, but either way, folks got a laugh out of it for better or worse. Of course, this is far from the first time that Drake caught flack for his outfits or for his maturity, but that's not a critique that Kanye West had in praise of his latest look. It was a hoodie with bullet holes in it with smoke emerging from them, a solid representation of how he's still standing after so many people dragged him through the mud.

Drake Tour Dates

Elsewhere during this Australian trek, Drake also felt quite generous, as he gave two random fans at a Perth show $20K each. "I don’t know where you’ve been in your life... That’s what we do out here in Perth," he remarked. "You got to show love. You see, it’s nights like these that we can never take for granted. It’s 14,000 people inside one building, and we all got here safe." These moments of genuine appreciation and connection make outfits like these all the more bizarre and easy to pile on.

Regardless of whether or not more suggestive shirts are in the closet, Drake will continue his "Anita Max Win" trek all throughout February and wrap it up on March 16 in Auckland. Perhaps we will see more wild fits and virally clowned moments, but there's also a lot of interest in his next projects and whatever Kendrick has to say about the beef these days. So who knows what The Boy's next angle will be?
