Rihanna is reportedly gearing up for her long awaited return to music, with plans said to include a series of major stadium shows taking place in summer 2026.
The 37 year old Umbrella singer was previously rumoured to be planning a live comeback in 2025, but those unconfirmed tour plans were scrapped due to her pregnancy. New reports now suggest that Rihanna, who welcomed her third child in September, is finally preparing to return to the stage and has several large scale UK dates in the works.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “She had to pull the shows she had lined up at London Stadium last summer because she was expecting her daughter.
“Rihanna has absolutely loved motherhood and has stayed incredibly busy building her Fenty fashion empire, but music is where her heart truly lies. She feels ready to step back on stage and wants fans to finally hear the material she has been creating.
“This is shaping up to be a huge year for Rihanna and the shows are expected to be on a massive scale. They will sell out without question.”
According to the publication, the UK dates are expected to take place in August, marking a decade since Rihanna last toured with her Anti World Tour in 2016.
Her most recent major live appearance came at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show in Glendale, Arizona in 2023, when she was pregnant with her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna and Rocky are now parents to sons RZA, three, and Riot, two, along with their daughter Rocki, who is four months old. The singer has also recently joked about the idea of expanding her family further.
She made light of the subject in a comment on an Instagram video shared by Love Island alum Montana Brown, 30. In the clip, the reality star, who has two children with her fiancé Mark O’Connor, debated whether to “get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026”.
Responding in the comments on Monday January 12 2026, Rihanna wrote: “Wait! So I’m not crazy then? Bet!”
Rihanna and Rocky first crossed paths while rehearsing for a performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, although their relationship did not begin until 2020. They welcomed Rocki into the world in September 2025, and Rihanna is clearly enjoying life as a mother of three.
The nine time Grammy Award winner recently told Extra: “The babies are amazing. They’re all growing so fast and I can’t handle it. My sons, oh my God, their faces are changing. Their necks are getting longer. I love it".
Drake has officially made Billboard history by becoming the first artist ever to occupy the top three positions on the US albums chart at the same time.
The rapper’s three surprise projects, Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour, debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200.
Leading the way was Iceman, the long awaited album Drake had been hinting at for nearly two years. The release opened at No. 1 and earned him his 15th chart topping album, pushing him past Jay Z for the most No. 1 albums among solo male artists and R&B or hip hop acts.
With the achievement, Drake now ties Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among solo artists overall. Only The Beatles remain ahead with 19 chart topping projects.
Iceman also delivered one of the biggest opening weeks of 2026, landing behind only BTS’s Arirang for the year’s highest sales total. It also marked the strongest debut week of the year for any R&B or hip hop album.
Right behind it on the chart were Habibti at No. 2 and Maid of Honour at No. 3, completing the unprecedented sweep.
Drake officially released Iceman on May 15 after first teasing the project back in July 2025 during the debut episode of his Iceman livestream series. During that stream, he previewed tracks including What Did I Miss? and Which One featuring Central Cee.
Just one day before release, on May 14, Drake shocked fans by announcing that he would be dropping three albums simultaneously.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide slipped from No. 1 to No. 4, while Ella Langley’s Dandelion rounded out the Top 5.
The current Top 10 also includes two albums from Michael Jackson, adding another historic touch to this week’s chart.
