Lady Gaga has hinted that new music could be on the way sooner than fans might expect.
One fan asked the Born This Way singer to avoid leaving a lengthy break before following up her 2025 album Mayhem, particularly after she and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, welcomed their first child, Rose, via surrogate in June.
The Little Monster left a comment on Gaga’s TikTok video promoting her Haus Labs Complexion Brush Set, writing: “Gaga, please don’t make us wait too long for new albums!!!
“We just want music!!! It feels like every album takes longer and longer to come out.”
Gaga quickly responded with a reassuring message, telling fans: “Don’t worry.”
Since releasing Mayhem, Gaga has contributed three songs to The Devil Wears Prada 2, including Runway, her collaboration with Doechii.
The rapper has also hinted that the pair have more music in store for listeners.
Speaking to E! News in April, Doechii teased: “I don’t want to reveal too much because there’s more coming from me and Gaga.”
The What It Is artist described Gaga as an “angel” to work with and praised her exceptional abilities as a musician.
She continued: “Working with her was incredible.
“She’s an angel. She’s genuinely a master of her craft, and I hope everyone is loving Runway.
“She’s absolutely fabulous.”
Gaga has previously spoken openly about her admiration for Doechii’s artistry, describing her music as “immediately legendary”.
In an interview with British Vogue, she explained: “It’s rare to see someone arrive on the scene with songwriting that feels instantly legendary. That’s exactly how I feel about Doechii.
“I fell in love with her music and the honest, deeply personal perspective she brings to it.”
Gaga also revealed that Doechii’s songwriting had affected her on a deeply personal level.
She added: “The strength of her lyrics, her openness, and the way she combines fearless confidence with such emotional precision in her rhymes really moved me to my core.”
Doechii later told People magazine that she was overwhelmed by Gaga’s praise, admitting she “audibly gasped, literally”.
She continued: “I’m Lady Gaga’s biggest fan, and she puts so much dedication into her creativity and constantly challenges boundaries. Hearing someone as legendary as her say those things about me was incredibly validating, in the most humbling way.
“I think Lady Gaga naturally has a certain presence when you meet her. You find yourself listening to what she says without even needing to ask for anything. She has a way of sharing herself and her creativity with the people around her.”
Teyana Taylor believes stepping away from music for five years was one of the best decisions she could have made, saying she has since watched her prayers come true.
The singer and One Battle After Another actress announced her retirement from music in 2020 after becoming frustrated with the lack of support from her record label for her third release, The Album.
During her time away from the music industry, Taylor turned her attention to acting and built an impressive screen career, appearing in films including A Thousand and One, Coming 2 America and One Battle After Another, as well as the television series All's Fair.
Looking back on the decision, the 34 year old told ELLE for its Women in Hollywood issue that she was thankful she had found the courage to walk away, even without knowing what would come next.
“I have a lot of gratitude for how I am able to see all of my prayers answered, all of the tears wiped. It was tough because I said I retired, and I didn't know what was next. I was afraid, but I wasn't afraid to take the leap,” she explained. “I've always had a strong relationship with God and felt him saying, 'Okay, do you trust me? I know you've been trusting, but do you really, really trust me? You ready to let me take that teddy bear from you so I can give you something bigger and better?'”
Speaking about her upcoming feature directorial debut, Get Lite, Taylor added that her ambitions behind the camera were also beginning to become a reality. “I told y'all that one day I'm going to be a big director, and (the fact that) that is coming to fruition shows his power.”
Taylor made her musical comeback in August with her fourth studio album, Escape Room, which she has described as her most personal and emotionally open work so far.
Although she has returned to music, Taylor continues to pursue acting, with upcoming appearances in The Rip, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and 72 Hours, which features Kevin Hart.
