50 CENT RESPONDS TO RUMORS OF REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION APPEARANCE

image

50 Cent never had any plans to appear at the Republican National Convention, despite rumors to the contrary.

As previously reportedCNN‘s Victor Blackwell reported on Monday (July 15), just as the four-day Republican National Convention commenced: “50 Cent is currently scheduled to perform at the GOP convention this week, according to a person familiar. The person cautioned plans could still change, but as of Monday morning, 50 was scheduled to perform at the convention.”

A few hours later, Kate Sullivan from the same network shared: “50 Cent is in talks with convention officials to appear in Milwaukee during the GOP convention, according to a person familiar.”

The rumors arrived after 50 invoked Trump during his show in Boston over the weekend after the assassination attempt on the former President.

According to TMZ, however, no such plans were ever even in the works.

“He is not attending [the RNC], as he is slated to be in Shreveport preparing for his ‘Humor and Harmony’ festival,” 50’s reps told the outlet. They did not, however, confirm or deny his support for the polarizing political figure.

Amber Rose did, however, appear at the RNC this week. On an episode of The Right View that was published last week, the model spoke to host Lara Trump about her firm endorsement of the latter’s father-in-law.

“I was honestly fed up,” she said while explaining why she went public with her support for the 78-year-old. “I’ve been feeling like this for a long time and I was tired of being politically correct, as far as being in the entertainment business.

“For me, Donald Trump is the epitome of an alpha male. He’s there to protect, provide, make sure that the citizens of the U.S. are in a good economy, protecting us. I feel protected by Donald Trump — that’s why I wanted to come out and publicly endorse him.”

She later added: “I went down a rabbit hole of right-wing media and I said there’s not a racist bone in his body. I was so wrong. I love the fact that he’s a person; I like that he has typos on Twitter — I appreciate that. Like, he’s a real person; he’s for the people.

“Honestly, I’ve never felt so free. I lost 260,000 followers when I posted [a picture with Trump], and it was one of the best days of my life. I got to be honest with you — I gained a whole new fanbase, I follow people that are like-minded […] I’m happy that I lost those followers. I basically cleaned house.”

The South American editions of Chicago’s legendary music festival will mark the first time Rodrigo and Tool perform in the countries and will mark Timberlake’s first time performing in Chile and Argentina.

In a five-star review of the 2023 edition of Lollapalooza Chicago, NME wrote: “It could be founder Perry Farrell’s penchant for highlighting new genres and making history with the festival’s choice of headliners, whether it’s Karol G’s show-stopping reggeaton performance as the first female Latina headliner to take on the fest or Tomorrow x Together’s sharp and youthful, rockstar status-confirming set as the first South Korean group to top the bill after proving their credentials on a smaller stage just a year earlier.

“Still, the festival doesn’t wander too far from where it came from as a Jane’s Addiction farewell tour back in 1991, with burgeoning rock acts like LoveJoy drawing large crowds to the same stage Lollapalooza veterans RHCP close out the festival on.”

In other news, Rodrigo fans have been upset at Sabrina Carpenter’s collaboration with Crumbl Cookies, claiming that “She really stole Olivia’s whole rollout.”
