Bruno Mars & ROSÉ Unveil Their New Collaboration ‘Apt.’: Stream It Now

It’s a superstar pop crossover! ROSÉ has officially launched her new solo era by teaming up with Bruno Mars on a new single called “Apt.,” which arrived on Friday (Oct. 18).

The song arrives just a day after the duo announced it, taking to Instagram to share the collaboration’s cover art. In the artwork, the BLACKPINK superstar lounges in front of a drum set, with the “Locked Out of Heaven” singer sitting behind it, holding the drumsticks. The pair, who are in black-and-white against a bright pink foreground, are matching in leather jackets and white t-shirts.

They’ve also been spending a ton of quality time together. Just hours before “Apt.” dropped, ROSÉ took to her Instagram Stories to share a video of the duo attending a soccer game. Meanwhile, Mars told a hilariously wild version of a story on his Instagram page that involved ROSÉ getting him “saucy” while teaching him how to play a Korean drinking game. “Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like ‘woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?’ She was like, ‘I ain’t playin games wit you anymore lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!’ Shaken, I replied ‘stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night,” he playfully wrote in the caption, to which ROSÉ replied in the comments, “what’s wrong with uuuu.”

“Apt.” will mark the K-pop star’s first release since announcing her December-slated 12-track album rosie earlier this month, and Mars’ first release since teaming up with Lady Gaga on the hit summer duet, “Die With a Smile,” which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard Global 200 chart for seven weeks. When sharing the news of her first-ever solo LP earlier this month, ROSÉ wrote: “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine … With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me. And yes, it’s a full length album.”

Kaskade’s Wife Files for Divorce After 28 Years of Marriage

image

Kaskade‘s wife, Naomi Raddon, has filed for divorce from the electronic music producer after nearly 28 years of marriage.

A petition filed on October 16 in Los Angeles and reviewed by Billboard cites irreconcilable differences as the grounds for divorce. The couple married in August of 1996, with the filing listing July 22, 2024 as the date of separation.

The couple share three children, two over the age of 18 and one minor, who is 14. The filing requests joint custody of the child. A representative for Kaskade did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.

Kaskade, 53, is considered one of the pioneers of EDM, helping bring the genre to the mainstream in the late aughts and early 2010s. A practicing Mormon, he’s also famous for being one of the few sober producers in dance music. This past February, he made history as the Super Bowl’s first ever in-game DJ and also played a historic set in 2021, when his headlining performance at Los Angeles’ then newly built SoFi Stadium become the venue’s first ever public show.

He and Deadmau5 also played a historic show in 2022, when the headlining set from their collaborative project Kx5 became the biggest ticketed global headlining dance event of 2022.

Raddon’s touring schedule in the years since has been characteristically heavy, as he’s played global festivals along with his residency at Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas. Last weekend alone, he played sets in Chicago, Provo, Las Vegas and Dallas. This week, the producer also announced a run of upcoming Christmas 2024 shows in New York City, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
