Dame Dash has become one of the most efficient haters in the game as of late. He wastes no time getting into The Art of Dialogue interview chair, especially when it pertains to matters involving Jay-Z.
Of course, Jay-Z had a pretty successful weekend, breaking numerous records during his three shows at Yankee Stadium. Fans of the legendary artist were excited about these performances, especially with all of the guests who came out to support. It was a great moment for hip-hop, and it feels as though Jay has an album on the horizon.
However, Dame Dash was not impressed. As we reported yesterday, Hov's former business partner found a way to hate on Beyoncé and Nas's appearance. Now, Dame is claiming that Jay-Z's performances had no real impact on popular culture.
In the latest clip from his interview with The Art of Dialogue, Dame Dash argues that only "urban" outlets were covering the Jay-Z shows. He says the New York Times and even TMZ didn't care to report on what was going on at Yankee Stadium. These claims from Dame Dash are demonstrably false, as the New York Times published a glowing review of all three shows.
That didn't stop Dame from pushing the envelope in his criticisms. He eventually said that Jay-Z can't even compare himself to Kanye West. "Jay is not in the same league as Kanye," he said.
While Kanye West is on a bit of a World Tour right now, it's clear that his shows are not as culturally relevant as what Jay did at Yankee Stadium. Ye stans and Jay haters probably don't want to hear that, but this past weekend was living proof.
Lenny Kravitz has explained why he prefers wearing leather trousers while working out at the gym.
In April 2024, the "Are You Gonna Go My Way" singer became an internet sensation after sharing a TikTok video of himself lifting weights while dressed in leather trousers.
Looking back on the viral moment during an interview for the summer 2026 edition of Men's Health, Lenny said there is a simple reason behind his unusual workout clothing, explaining that he often trains in leather or jeans.
"I perform onstage in leather, denim, whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train," he said, revealing he can fit into 28 inch pants. "It also means I can fit in a workout anytime, anywhere."
The rock star also spoke about how he stays in shape, saying his physique is the result of a "mostly vegan" diet and a consistent fitness routine.
"All this is natural: no peptides, no human growth hormone, no testosterone," the 62 year old emphasised. "There's nothing wrong if people want to do those things. But there's an alternative. You can do it naturally with exercise and food. Is it harder? Yes. Does it take more work? Yes. But that's how I choose to do it, and it's 100 percent attainable."
Even so, Lenny said he has no desire to build an overly muscular body.
"I want a very narrow silhouette, more like Spider-Man meets Bruce Lee, you know what I mean? Bruce Lee looked good in clothes. He's bad, a thin, cool guy who obviously had muscle tone and who moved and flowed really gracefully," he added.
The "Fly Away" musician is currently on tour across the UK and Europe, with upcoming performances scheduled in Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia.
